A friend of the Kaduna State Governor, Malam Nasir El-Rufa’i, has revealed that the governor holds 83 certificates from the highly revered Havard University in the United States. AbdulHakeem Mustapha (SAN) revealed this during El-Rufa’i’s 60th birthday celebration at the weekend. Harvard, aside from being the oldest institution of higher learning in the United States, has earned a reputation as the most prestigious in the world based on its history, influence, and profile of some of its alumni.
The CEO of Facebook Mark Zuckerberg, CEO of Microsoft, Bill Gates as well as eight former US presidents Obama and George Bush inclusive, attended Harvard at some points in their lives. Zuckerberg conceived the idea to start Facebook and launched the website in his dorm room at Harvard. Having 83 certificates from any university is not a mean feat, bagging the certificates from the prestigious Harvard is worth talking about. That is why Mustapha said he was shocked when he saw El-Rufa’i’s certificates.
“There was a time El-Rufa’i’s was dragged to court for not having a certificate. And as we're about to get to the court that day, he dropped me in his car and handed me a bulky envelope.“When I opened the envelope, I discovered he has 83 certificates from Havard. And when I asked him how come? He said, A.U, when my peers were busy buying exotic cars, houses and other luxurious things, this is what I was doing with my money.” Mustapha SAN said.
