Yoruba person willn't go against Ayelala or doubt the efficacy of Ogun''- Ondo traditionalists call for traditional oath swearing for politicians

Traditionalists in Ondo state have advocated for oath-taking traditionally by political office holders as a panacea to corruption and arbitrary use of power. The traditionalists made this suggestion after four days of celebrating the Isese festival in Akure, the state capital. Speaking to newsmen, the leader of the traditionalists and the Araba Awo of Okeagbe, Ayobami Ogedemgbe, said;
‘’Isese path is one we know that the Irunmoles uphold the integrity and if people say that this is what I will do, naturally, I do not think any Yoruba person will go against Ayelala or doubt the efficacy of Ogun. So if our politicians want us to fix this country and rid this country of thieves, I think one of the steps is to go through the Isese route to install them into office.''
