LESSONS FOR NIGERIA FROM THE BREAKUP OF YUGOSLAVIA 1990–1992 - Posi Tubosun

Issued on October 18, 1990, National Intelligence Estimate (NIE) presented a dire warning to the U.S. policy community:
"Yugoslavia will cease to function as a federal state within a year, and will probably dissolve within two. Economic reform will not stave off the breakup. [...] A full-scale interrepublic war is unlikely, but the serious intercommunal conflict will accompany the breakup and will continue afterward. The violence will be intractable and bitter. There is little the United States and its European allies can do to preserve Yugoslav unity."
The October 1990 judgment of the U.S. intelligence community, as Thomas Shreeve noted in his 2003 study on NIE for the National Defense University, “was analytically sound, prescient, and well written. It was also fundamentally inconsistent with what US policymakers wanted to happen in the former Yugoslavia, and it had almost no impact on US policy.” By January 1992, the Socialist Federal Republic of Yugoslavia ceased to exist, having dissolved into its constituent states.
Unfortunately, history is about repeating itself all over again in West Africa. The USA government has also appointed a special envoy for Nigeria as the country has been designated as a country of interest for religious intolerance. The terrorist Fulani Boko Haram army has laid siege over the whole of Southern Nigeria whilst the rest of the world looks away. It is only when this situation finally boils over and makes the Rwandan genocide become a child's play, that the rest of the world will intervene to administer a plebiscite. The two nations that made up of Southern Nigeria (Biafra and Yoruba) which were punitively joined with the Shariah cum feudal Northern Nigeria in 1914 by the British colonial masters have issued a Constitutional Force Majeure on 16.12.2020, giving the so-called government of Nigeria operationalized90 days' notice to take down the 'worse-than-Apartheid' 1999 Unitary Constitution, and set machinery in motion to make a new Constitution as the Apartheid South African government did in 1990. Rather than engaging with us peacefully, the Fulani government kept invading our lands by proxy via Boko Haram terrorist groups, killing our farmers and displacing our people on a large scale. The world is hereby being put on judicial notice, that Nigeria is being run ex-vacantia by a confederacy of Fulani terrorist proxy groups from all over West Africa. Just like the European Commission quickly stepped into Yugoslavia in 1990 to administer a peaceful plebiscite, now is the time to do so in Nigeria. A stitch in time saves nine. Any delay may be futile and may cascade into a descent into chaos and calamity which may consume the whole of West Africa in the process. Now, the shariah cum feudal terrorist monster packaged in the UK, assembled by Frederick Lugard, and operationalized in Nigeria is now ready to take down the whole of the region with it. Playing ostrich by world leaders may unfortunately indirectly affect them in the way that they never imagined hitherto if they allow this monster to fester. The time to kill the Fulani Republic of Nigeria for the good of humanity is long overdue.
