However, there are many lovebirds who believe breaking age-old traditions is a way of making their union unforgettable. In the case of Bobby Cook and Ciara O'Donnell, their wedding antics were so impressive, they quickly went viral on social media. The couple from Swansea, UK became the talk of the town and the internet for their role reversal wedding that saw Bobby walking down the aisle to Ciara before exchanging their wedding vows. But the role reversal was not just limited to the wedding process. The attires too played a major part in making the ceremony a grand success. Believe it or not, Bobby made the long walk to the wedding podium wearing a white gown and Ciara waited for him in her three-piece suit. The wacky plan was born when Ciara refused to walk down the aisle on her wedding day. She also had a lifelong dream of getting married in a suit. That’s when Bobby decided to do everything in reverse. "We always joked Ciara wears the trousers in the relationship, so it made sense for her to wear them at the wedding. Ciara said she wouldn't be walking down the aisle for me, so I walked down the aisle for her. So we decided to do everything backward,” Bobby told Mirror. Ciara said she had joked about the idea of Bobby walking down the aisle when the two attended a wedding a few years ago. “I and Bobby can be a bit wacky and we thought if we did it, it would really break the ice and give everyone good form at the start of the day," said Ciara. There were a few gobsmacked faces at the wedding as all the bridesmaids were seen in tuxedos and the groomsmen in gowns. On a more serious note, Bobby said the role reversal was not done to make a mockery of marriage.
