Nollywood actress Iyabo Ojo has dared the Yoruba Nollywood industry as she sets the record straight with a colleague, Laide Bakare. Iyabo Ojo shared a daring caption on her Instagram page, asking the Yoruba industry to watch out for publicizing hatred. The mother of two claimed the Yoruba Nollywood would ‘scatter and blow’ if they spread the speculated rumours about her. She wrote, “When is not that the Yoruba industry wants to scatter & blow…. It definitely has to be a fake WhatsApp.”
Iyabo Ojo also urged her fans to discard a rumour about her alleged relationship with former NURTW boss, Musiliu Akinsanya, MC Oluomo. Iyabo Ojo claimed sha had a conversation with Laide Bakare, who claimed the circulated information was a fake WhatsApp chat with her picture and name.

Laide Bakare shades Iyabo Ojo over Tinubu’s win for her support for Labour Party’s presidential candidate, Peter Obi. Following the latter’s loss at the February 2023 presidential election, Laide Bakare, on Whatsapp story mocked her colleague, who many claimed was Iyabo Ojo. She alleged that the unidentified actress became a Labor Party supporter because of a man (probably referring to Iyabo Ojo’s affair with Paulo Okoye, who is an Igbo).
She noted how the actress was on several Instagram live behaving like a saint. Meanwhile, she, Laide, has evidence of her atrocities. “Now we are winning. If u talk, u collect 100%. Plus una mama wey turn to LP cause of d**k. Doing Live videos as of she’s a saint. I am my evidence.
