“We are sick, hungry” Kankara Schoolboys recount ordeal

The abducted Kankara schoolboys who have now regained their freedom, have narrated their ordeal in the hands of their abductors. Earlier it was reported, the abducted Kankara schoolboys were taken to the State House where they met with Governor Aminu Masari. They are now being taken to the hospital for medical treatment. 

Why I dethroned Sanusi as Kano Emir – Ganduje

The Kano State Governor, Dr Abdullahi Ganduje, on Tuesday said he dethroned the former Emir of Kano, Alhaji Muhammadu Sanusi, in March 2020 to save the traditional institution from abuse. He also alleged that Sanusi was appointed the Emir in 2014 to spite former President Goodluck Jonathan, who sacked him as the Central Bank Governor for saying $49bn was missing from the public coffers.
