A Nigerian Tawakalit Adenike Adeleke, aka Poshnikky, a muslim female aged 50 years, has been exposed and on the run over romance scams of diasporans. Poshnikky, a single mum of three living in Abuja, Nigeria, is an indigene of Osun state, and is on all social media platforms; her operational base is TikTok.
Tawakalit Adenike Adeleke's stock in trade is joining various matchmaking online platforms to scam unsuspecting diasporans of their hard-earned money. One of the many that she joined was Sukura Omooyo online matchmaking platform on TikTok.
Being an elderly woman and the oldest female on the platform, the hostess respected her and even made her the contact person for potential lovers looking to be matched with their love interest.
That's how Poshnikky infertirated the online community matchmaking, charging and black taxing them both in cash and kind to the tune of Millions of Naira, printed forms to be filled with private information.
Poshnikky now uses this information to blackmail them threathening to reveal their identity, and during live programmes on the platform, Tawakalit calls out people by their proper names, instead of their user names, thereby exposing them.
Poshnikky went as far as asking for one of her daughters to be taken to Australia by one of the community members! She was placed on monthly salary by some members; all these and so much more were happening behind the scenes and behind the hostess's back
One thing led to another, and the hottess came to know that Poshnikky has been extorting and blackmailing community members, calling their family members in Nigeria, collecting fees before matchmaking members, even though it's free! and all kinds of ridiculous demands, and members were obliging her! She was removed from the platform, and till now, more members are coming forward with payment proofs and phone conversations of her scamming antics, and to let the general public know that she scams other matchmaking platforms, to be aware and not fall prey to her appearance. Necessary steps are being taken to prevent future occurrences.
