“Return someone’s husband”, Nigerians drag Mercy Aigbe for blasting her colleagues and INEC.

Nigerians have dragged actress Mercy Aigbe on social media for blasting her colleagues and the Independent National Electoral Commission (INEC). Mercy Aigbe shared her two cents online about the buzzing drama between her colleagues on social media and the rotation of the same set of people in power. Mercy Aigbe urged her colleagues to put up a united front for the country’s betterment rather than selling their conscience to their oppressors. She also called on INEC to do the needful regarding the electoral process. She wrote, “As public Figures, what we should do is put up a united front and stand for the betterment of Nigeria! But some people have sold their conscience to the Devil!!! If you are still supporting our oppressors, those who put us in this state! You are an enemy of Nigeria @inecnigeria we dey wait!!! Enough is Enough.”
Mercy Aigbe also trolled the Nigerian ex-governors returning to the Senate. The actress claimed there is a need for fresh minds and the ex-governors should be banned from returning to the lawmaking suite. “What I don’t understand is all these Ex-Governors going back to Senate! Is government their inheritance??? What is it? Abeg, we want fresh minds!!! I think a policy should be put in place to ban all ex-governors from running for office again jare! All of them kuku just go there for their selfish interest! Enough already!”
Nigerians react to Mercy Aigbe’s post following this, netizens took to the comment section to dray Mercy Aigbe for reportedly snatching ‘someone’s’ husband.
The mother of two was dragged online to lead by example if she is calling out her colleagues or the electoral body, INEC.
Maymay wrote, “Return person husband first , charity begins at home.”
One Ugegbe wrote, “Aunty you sold your conscience when you married someone else’s husband, please sit this one out.”
“No difference between INEC and Mercy, they are both merciless so she should just sh€t up and face her mumu husband. Husband snatcher too dey talk” Zebbys wrote.
“Better said if you sef get conscience, after you kidnap person hubby!?? Ahhh conscience lo pe beyen… mercy beru Olorun o,” Lasucremiel wrote.
However, one Alijay claimed, “She made a valid point but because most of you are myopic judges…you can’t see past her marital history. some people lack intellectual insight. We need to be good people. Most of you have slept with someone else’s husband or boyfriend…some of you sef snatched your current husband. But because your life is not public you think you can transfer your frustration to another person. Pots calling the kettle black.”
