The man who is reportedly a retired Road Safety officer had asked his son to stay back in Lagos till the Coronavirus outbreak is curbed, but he came home in spite of his warning.

Three men arrested in Katsina for ''insulting'' President Buhari, Governor Masari on social media
The Katsina State police command has arrested three men over a video they made and shared on social media, allegedly insulting President Muhammadu Buhari and the state governor, Aminu Masari. Spokesperson of the command, SP Isah Gambo, who disclosed this in a statement on Thursday, gave names of the three men as 70-year-old Lawal Abdullahi Izala; Bahajaje Abu,30 and Hamza Abubakar, 27, all of Gafai Quarters, in Katsina metropolis.

Peninah Bahti Kitsao, a widow who lives in Mombasa, Kenya, worked as a local laundrywoman before the lockdown. The five-page document which was signed by the PTF Chairman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha was released by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 ahead of the phased and gradual easing of the lockdown.

A couple in Lagos has been arrested for the death of their 19-year-old housemaid. Mr and Mrs Fortune Stephens, (pictured left) were arrested by Operatives of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) of the Lagos State Police Command for the death of Joy Okom Adole, at their home at number 18 Ogundola street, in the Bariga area of the state. The couple called the police to report that their housemaid had committed suicide at their home on April 20th following a misunderstanding.
