“We are guilty,” Funke Akindele and husband tell court (photos + video)

Nollywood Actress, and mother of two, Funke Akindele-Bello and her husband, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, have both pleaded guilty to the one-count charge levelled against them.

Actress Funke Akindele-Bello who was arrested on Sunday, April 5th by the Lagos state police command for flouting the social distancing order of the Lagos state government spent the night at the State Criminal Investigation Department SCID office in Panti, Lagos. A police source who confirmed this said the actress's husband, Abdulrasheed Bello aka JJC Skillz, who was not available when she was picked up has turned himself in and is currently with her in Panti.

Funke Akindele shared her anguish on Twitter, just after being arrested by the Lagos State Police for violating a lockdown order on Coronavirus. Recall that the Lagos State Government had issued an order which banned a public gathering of more than 20 people.

The Lagos state police command says it has arrested actress Funke AKindele-Bello for violating the restriction order placed on the state by President Buhari in a bid to curtail the spread of Coronavirus. The actress and her hubby, JJC Skillz had a house party last night in their home in Amen Estate, Lagos to celebrate his birthday. A statement from the spokesperson of the police command read

A 36-year-old man, Bryan Indimuli has been confirmed dead after being stabbed by his 25-year-old wife, Joy Indeche at their residence in Ikoli Village in Malava Constituency, Kakamega County of Kenya. Father of the deceased, John Indimuli said the incident occurred after his son complained that Indeche tripped over a chair and the ugali (maize porridge eaten in the east and central Africa) she was carrying fell on the floor.
