Anyone found without a face mask will be prosecuted – FG

The federal government has announced that anyone found moving about without a face mask will be prosecuted. The five-page document which was signed by the PTF Chairman and Secretary to the Government of the Federation, Boss Mustapha was released by the Presidential Task Force (PTF) on COVID-19 ahead of the phased and gradual easing of the lockdown.

A couple in Lagos has been arrested for the death of their 19-year-old housemaid. Mr and Mrs Fortune Stephens, (pictured left) were arrested by Operatives of State Criminal Investigation and Intelligence Department (SCIID) of the Lagos State Police Command for the death of Joy Okom Adole, at their home at number 18 Ogundola street, in the Bariga area of the state. The couple called the police to report that their housemaid had committed suicide at their home on April 20th following a misunderstanding.

There was outrage when Wael Jerro put up a post on a Facebook page, ‘Buy and Sell in Lebanon', advertising Busari Peace, 30, with her Nigerian passport. He put a price tag of $1,000 on the Nigerian woman who is from Oyo State.
