Cocoa House Elevator collapses in Oyo; many injured, death recorded
At least one person has been confirmed dead while four others sustained injuries when the elevator of the Cocoa House in Ibadan, the Oyo State capital collapsed during repairs. It was gathered that the faulty elevator collapsed when some technicians were working on it to make it functional.

Deeper Life School has reacted with a statement to allegations of a JSS 1 pupil was sexually abused in the Akwa Ibom branch of the school.
