A woman has gone on X to condemn the "gender affirming care" she received when she identified as t*ans*end*r. She explained that from the age of 18 to 25, she bound her b*e*st in an effort to pass off as male. 8 years ago, she had surgery to remove her b*e*sts. However, she now regrets her actions. She wrote on X: "I can never get back what I have lost from going down the path of medicalisation. "G*n*er affirming care didn't save my life. It ruined it." Her tweet has revived conversations about allowing children who identify as t*ans*end*r to get gender affirming surgery and care, only for them to regret it years later.
