A mobility-challenged Nigerian woman, Grace Alache Jerry, got married to her longtime lover, IB Kings Ibrahim Mshelia. Their white wedding was held on Saturday, October 4, 2025, while they had their civil wedding in Abuja on August 7. The disability activist singer and fellow of the Mandela Washington Fellowship for Young African Leaders has been confined to a wheelchair for 23 years. Grace had revealed in an interview that she was not born with a disability. “I was involved in a road accident in 2002, and after that, I sustained a spinal injury,” she said.
