Ex-US Mayor Mike Arnold claims Reno Omokri paid Arise TV $3000 for an interview, release ‘sleazy’ video

A former Mayor of Blanco, Texas, in the United States, Mike Arnold, has released another bombshell on a former aide to ex-President Goodluck Jonathan, Reno Omokri, whom he had earlier described as a pathological liar and hypocrite who is only driven by what he gets and not for the good of the people. Arnold, who is the founder of Africa Arise International, revealed last week, revealed how Reno invited him into the country on a fact-finding mission as the debate on Christian genocide rages with allegations by some US lawmakers alleging that Christians were being murdered in Nigeria.
In a series of tweets last week, Arnold had accused Reno of trying to manipulate him and get him to lie that there was no ongoing religious persecution, but ended up disappointed over what he described as Omokri’s two-faced insincerity and manipulative tendencies. While Reno has not spoken on the allegations by Arnold, the American has once again opened another can of worms on him, alleging that he paid the whopping sum of $3000 to the crew of Arise TV for him and the fact-finding to appear on the now-controversial interview.
Arnold, who made the new allegations on X handle on Sunday, once again said all along, Reno was still trying to manipulate the process of the interview to suit his paymasters, but met his match in the Arise TV crew, who stood their ground and insisted that the proper thing must be done. “We had been traveling for 30 hours. Taken straight from the airport, directly to the scripted propaganda photo ops with the CAN imposter, then the three imams. And then hustled downstairs to the studio and straight on the air for this live, primetime interview,” Arnold wrote.
“No bathroom break, no drink of water, no moment to catch our breath. I had to beg for just a moment to put on a clean shirt. He actually wanted me to wear my crumpled, grubby travel clothes. “Bad enough my hair was messed up from sleeping on the airplane, and my teeth felt like they were slimy. I’m sure we didn’t smell good either. “Reno paid for this spot on TV, I was told $3000. Watch it, you see that it was a setup. He was trying to trap me and get me on the record agreeing with him.
“Now here’s what’s going on in this video: the TV studio set has room for two guests. A third must go to an adjacent room. “The host and all the staff assumed that they would do what they always have done, and the actual guests would sit with the host, while the handler would go into the next room. “Reno demanded that he sit on the main set, in the top guest chair. The host was adamant against that. (It went on much longer than this, and got quite heated. I only thought to record it at the last moment.) “You can hear the music starting to play. We were about to go live. Reno was prepared to ditch and leave the host hanging, who, without option, consented at the last moment, extremely upset. “That’s what you call sleazy.”
